- Luma Works: led end-to-end product design for a platform for professional painters, from concept and design system to prototypes and user flows (2025).
- OSG: wireframed and prototyped the JourneyConnect billing experience in Figma, and designed interactive statements with Orion AI for financial services clients and credit unions.
- Matrix Imaging Solutions: built and maintain the SharePoint intranet; automated employee recognition with Power Automate (2022 – present).

About
I'm Ray Santos, a seasoned NYC-area designer who delivers high-quality work fast, backed by deep technical skills and a knack for solving problems on the fly.
I'm a senior visual designer with 15+ years in iconography, brand identity and UX/UI, trained in communication design at Pratt. I design pixel-precise icon systems, build visual languages that scale from product to print, and turn complex flows into clear interfaces. I've always automated the repetitive parts of design, and AI has been a game changer: more directions explored, faster iteration, polished work in a fraction of the time.
I've worn nearly every hat: icon systems and brand identities, product UI and design systems, websites and intranets I've coded myself, and campaigns across email, social, print and trade show. I've done it on every kind of team, from two-person crews to global cross-functional groups, remote and on-site, so work moves from concept to production without getting lost in handoff.
Away from the screen I cook, draw with my kids, and design and build furniture.
